Sennett Seniors
The group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (except January, February, and March) for a short business meeting - beginning at 11:30 AM, lunch at 12:00 PM and then a program. A celebration will be held for all members birthdays during the June meeting held at Yawger Brook. The cost of the lunch is $20.00/person/month. Those 90 and older or a veteran are $10.00. There are NO annual dues for those who live in the Town of Sennett. Yearly dues for non-Sennett residents is $25.00. At each meeting, we will continue to have one 50-50 ticket winner; but the other 50% will be kept for the Sennett Seniors. Our group also enjoys day trips with the cost based on the activity, bus, and food. Many of our members have also enjoyed trips with the other area Senior clubs. Our monthly newsletter (distributed at meetings) includes trips and events available with other Senior groups in the area. Other community events may also be included in the newsletter. Trips in prior years were taken to Cortland Repertory Theater, Christkindle Festival in Canandaigua, NY. Meeting/dining venues include the Lodge at Welch Allyn and Yawger Brook.
