NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ASSESSOR OF THE TOWN OF SENNETT, COUNTY OF CAYUGA, HAS COMPLETED THE TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AND THAT A COPY HAS BEEN LEFT WITH THE TOWN CLERK, AT THE TOWN HALL, WHERE IT MAY BE SEEN AND EXAMINED BY ANY INTERESTED PERSON UNTIL JUNE 2, 2026.

All Town and County taxes are now due to Cayuga County and CANNOT be paid at Town level. Please contact the Cayuga County Treasurer's Office at 315-253-1211 for the current amount due.
All Second Installments for Town and County taxes are to be paid at the Cayuga County Treasurer's Office located at 63 Genesee Street, Lower Level (enter from North Street) and CANNOT be paid at Town level. Please contact the Cayuga County Treasurer's Office at 315-253-1211 for amount due if you do not have your second installment slip.
REMINDER: Second installments are due by July 31, 2026 at the Cayuga County Treasurer's Office from 8:30am - 3:30 pm only.

Paying Water Bills by Mail - Payments sent in the mail can only be accepted as timely by the date postmarked on the envelope. Without a postmark on the envelope, mailed payments will be accepted and processed with the date they were received. It is suggested that when making a water payment by mail near the due date, that you take it to the post office and have it manually date stamped by the post office. Metered mail DOES NOT constitute a postmark.

TOWN OF SENNETT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law, there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Sennett, New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on March 19, 2026, proposed Local Law No. A-2026, titled, “Dog Control Law in the Town of Sennett.” Said Local Law, if enacted, will repeal the entirety of Town of Sennett Local Law #1 of 2011 (“Dog Licensing and Control Law”). The full text of said Local Law is on file at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall located at 6931 Cherry Street Road, Auburn, New York 13021, Town of Sennett, New York for inspection by all interested persons. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed Local Law at the said Town Hall on April 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at which time all persons interested will be heard.
